Abstract:Objective To explore the factors affecting the quality of life of surgical patients with primary hepatocellular carcinoma (PHC), and to provide evidence for clinical treatment and life intervention. Methods 364 cases of primary liver cancer admitted to the liver and cholecystectomy of Shanghai Ruijin Hospital between January 1, 2017 and October 31, 2018 were investigated by questionnaires and EORTC QLQC30. The factors affecting the quality of life of patients with primary liver cancer were analyzed by multiple linear regression analysis. Results Univariate analysis showed that age, education level, marital status, nutritional status, income, payment method, Child-Pugh grading of liver function and other factors had significant impact on the quality of life of patients with primary liver cancer (P<0.05). But sex and treatment methods had no obvious effect on the quality of life of liver cancer patients. Multivariate linear regression analysis showed that the education level, economic income, nutritional status of patients were positively correlated with quality of life score, while age, Child-Pugh grade of liver function were negatively correlated with quality of life score (P<0.05). Conclusion There are many factors affecting the quality of life of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma. In the course of treatment, positive and targeted interventions can effectively improve the quality of life of patients.
