Abstract:As the third most common malignant tumor colorectal cancer is characterized by high incidence and high mortality
rate. Chemotherapy is an important treatment in addition to surgery radiotherapy immunotherapy and targeted therapy which can
produce a series of adverse effects while playing a therapeutic role affecting nutritional status and even leading to malnutrition which
in turn will reduce the tolerance of chemotherapy and even seriously affect the quality of life and survival time of patients. In recent
years nutrition therapy has become one of the important components of comprehensive cancer treatment which is closely related to
patients' nutritional status treatment effect chemotherapy related adverse reactions and other survival prognosis. Clinical workers have
actively explored nutritional management and various nutritional management patterns based on theory patient - led and medical
staff-led have shown results which have a positive impact on the nutritional status and tumor prognosis of patients undergoing
chemotherapy for colorectal cancer. This paper combines the recent progress of domestic and international research with the results of
the study on the nutritional management of colorectal cancer patients. Therefore this paper reviews the nutritional management patterns
for patients undergoing chemotherapy for colorectal cancer taking into account the research progress at home and abroad in recent
years in order to provide a reference basis for clinical scientific research and management.
