42 Association between dietary fber intake and cancer risk and prognosis
Objective The incidence rate of kinds of cancers has increased in recent years. As we know, diet plays an important role in the development of cancer, so is the dietary fber. The aim of this study was to achieve a comprehensive assessment of the relationship between dietary fber intake and cancers risk. Methods Studies, especially meta analysis, about dietary fber intake and cancers risk were searched. Results Higher dietary fber intake is inversely associated with breast cancer, while the associations of dietary fber with risk of other cancers is controversial and inconclusive. A few studies suggested that breast cancer and colorectal cancer patients with high dietary fber intake may be a better prognosis for survival. Conclusions Higher dietary fber intake is associated with a lower risk of breast cancer. Well designed epidemiological studies are warranted to further verify the association between dietary fber intake and the risk and prognosis of cancers.in breast cancer cell lines. Methods Seven SCALs compounds, S1127,?S1156,?S1169,?S1170,?S1178,?S1180,?and S1182 were

58 Visceral fat removal
Objective To summarize the function and research status of visceral fat (VF) removal. Methods The related literatures were reviewed. Results Increased VF can result in insulin resistance (IR), excessive adipocytokines and in?ammatory cytokines secretion, and glucolipid metabolism disorders, and is the key factor of type 2 diabetes, dyslipidemia, cardiovascular diseases, metabolic syndrome and other metabolic complications. Obesity and visceral fat, both can increase the incidence of malignant tumor, shorten the disease-free and overall survival, increase the risk of recurrence and death. The relationship between visceral fat and malignant tumor is also related with insulin resistance, excessive adipocytokines and inflammatory cytokines secretion, and systemic chronic inflammatory response status, which all induced by the VF. So the VF became the target of the treatments and preventions of these diseases and surgical removal of part of VF directly is one way of them. In most of animal experiments, surgical removal of part of VF directly has been shown to improve IR, increase insulin sensitivity, glucolipid metabolism, reduce adipocytokines and inflammatory cytokines secretion and prevent tumorigenesis. But in human, due to the limitation of anatomical and medical ethics, only great omentum can be removed in similar experiments, and most of the studies have not found similar positive roles. Conclusions Many animal experiments have confrmed that visceral fat resection can improve glucolipid metabolism and prevent tumorigenesis, but in clinical trials, the omentectomy, found no similar changes, which may be associated with insuffcient excised fat mass, the specifc reason need further study.

64 Function of orexin and its application in the treatment of tumor
Objective To elaborate the physiological functions of orexin and the correlation between leptin and malignant tumor, in addition to look forward its application prospect in tumor. Methods We reviewed and researched the domestic and foreign published literature about the physiological function of orexin, and the relationship between leptin and malignant tumor. Results Orexin can not only be involved in the regulation of energy metabolism, feeding behavior, but also play a very important role in the sleep wake cycle, stress, drug addiction and relapse, insulin secretion, gastric acid secretion, and many studies have confrmed that orexin can affect the appetite of patients with malignant tumor and promote the apoptosis of cancer cells. Conclusions Orexin has the application prospect in drug discovery for treating diabetes, drug addiction and narcolepsy, improving the poor quality of appetite in patients with malignant tumor and promoting the apoptosis of malignant tumor cells.

68 Zinc and tumor
Objective To investigate the relationship between zinc and tumor. Methods Applying the PubMed, the Google scholar, with "zinc, zinc deficiency, tumor, cancer" as key words, for the retrieval of suchliterature in recent 10 years. Inclusion criteria :(1) Relationship and mechanism of zinc deficiency and cancer or tumor; (2) Relationship and mechanism between zinc sufficiency and cancer or tumor, according to the standard income thereferences below. Results Zinc deficiency is more likely to induce cancer or tumor which is associate with many factors, such as body anti-oxidation dysfunction, inflammationraised, DNAdamage, genetic mutation and so on. Conclusions People should ensure a balanced diet, and keep all the nutrients and trace elements in moderate condition.

73 Malnutrition and nutritional therapy of hepatocellular carcinoma
Objective Malnutrition commonly appears in patients of hepatocellular carcinoma. Severe malnutrition contributes to raising the risk of therapy-associated side effects and mortality, decreasing the effcacy of anticancer treatments and increasing the length of hospital stay. This paper introduced the causes of hepatocellular carcinoma-related malnutrition and the nutritional therapies of hepatocellular carcinoma to provide guide for its use in clinic. Methods Using "hepatocellular carcinoma", "malnutrition" and "nutritional therapy" to search the literatures in the CNKI and PubMed. Then summarizing the causes of hepatocellular carcinomarelated malnutrition and the nutritional therapies. Results The damage of liver cell, anorexia, metabolism and assimilation are the main causes of hepatocellular carcinoma-related malnutrition. And the therapeutic effect varies with the clinical status and cancer therapies. Conclusions The causes for hepatocellular carcinoma-related malnutrition are multifarious and the choices of scientifc and effcient nutritional therapies should be in accordance with the patient status.
