Abstract Objective To analyze the current status hot spots and frontiers of research in the field of re-feeding syndrome-related
studies. Method The Web of Science core collection database was used as the data source to retrieve relevant literature on refeeding
syndrome since its establishment until December 31 2021 and Citespace and VOSviewer were used to analyze the countries journals
authors and keywords of relevant studies. Result A total of 755 relevant papers were included with an overall increase in the number
of publications year by year with the United States the United Kingdom and Japan being the key countries in this field. The identification of risk factors for refeeding syndrome clinical manifestations preventive management and treatment are current research
hotspots. Anorexia nervosa patients critically ill patients hospitalized patients and adolescents constitute the study population. Among them mortality risk factors and management of critically ill patients are at the forefront of research. Conclusion Research on
refeeding syndrome in China still requires significant development including the development of unified screening criteria evidencebased exploration and clinical practice to serve as a reference for clinical practice.
