Applied research of Delphi method construction of Clinical Nutrition course content for clinical medical undergraduates

Abstract: Objective Focusing on the National Nutrition Plan 2017 - 2030 to strengthen the nutritional capacity building
requirements aimed at cultivating contemporary clinical medical undergraduate talents with post competency. This study designed and
constructed the course content of Clinical Nutrition in line with the concept of new medical curriculum construction comprehensively
improved the quality of Clinical Nutrition course and provided reference for clinical nutrition teaching. Through this study in order to
better improve the comprehensive medical level solve public health problems and promote the reform of clinical nutrition education in
clinical medicine. Method From December 2020 to March 2021 the study using the Delphi method 25 experts 22 actually participated
from 11 provinces were selected. Through two rounds of questionnaire consultation the enthusiasm coefficient and authoritative
coefficient of experts the full score rate the mean of importance score the coefficient of variation of each index and coordination
coefficient Kendall's W were calculated. Result The curriculum content of Clinical Nutrition including 4 first-level indicators 12
second-level indicators and 27 third-level indicators were designed and constructed for clinical medical undergraduates. In the two
rounds of questionnaire the enthusiasm coefficients of experts were 88% and 100% and the authoritative coefficients were >0. 7. The
Kendall's W values were 0. 082

Clinical Nutrition course content designed and constructed in this study can improve the clinical nutrition knowledge level and clinical
nutrition diagnosis and treatment skills of medical students highlight the value of nutritional therapy have clinical practicability
promote the development of clinical nutrition discipline and promote our country's clinical nutrition education to a new level.
