Abstract Esophageal cancer is a common malignant tumor of the digestive tract and radiotherapy is a key treatment
modality. However patients often face the risk of malnutrition after radiotherapy which severely impacts prognosis. Standardized
nutritional intervention can significantly improve patients ' quality of life and treatment outcomes. Yet in primary healthcare
institutions challenges such as insufficient medical resources low accessibility of nutritional support and varying patient awareness
hinder effective nutritional management. Currently there is a lack of unified guidelines for post - radiotherapy nutritional care for
esophageal cancer patients in primary healthcare settings in China. To address this an expert panel has developed this consensus
document by referencing existing guidelines consensus statements and relevant domestic and international literature. The core
recommendations including nutritional screening and assessment nutritional education dietary management nutritional therapy
complication management follow - up care and exercise rehabilitation. This consensus aims to provide standardized guidance for
nutritional management in esophageal cancer patients after radiotherapy in primary healthcare institutions.
