Abstract Fructose a common monosaccharide is predominantly utilized in the form of high fructose corn syrup. The increasing
prevalence of chronic metabolic disorders such as obesity diabetes and hyperlipidemia has been linked to the widespread consumption
of high fructose corn syrup. Moreover this dietary trend has been recognized to create a conducive metabolic milieu for tumor
growth. While direct evidence establishing a causal relationship between fructose intake and tumorigenesis in humans remains sparse a
growing body of epidemiological and experimental research has identified a strong association between high fructose consumption and the
initiation and progression of tumors. This study aims to enhance our comprehension of the metabolic pathways and properties of fructose
in tumor cells to elucidate experimental proof of the connection between fructose and tumor development and to offer
scientifically-backed dietary recommendations for both healthy individuals and cancer patients. By doing so this investigation aims to
serve as a valuable resource for the prevention and treatment of tumors.
